How ordering works.

Everything about ordering, paying, picking up and cancelling. In plain language, so you know exactly where you stand.

This is a translation. If there are any differences, the Dutch version applies.

Build your box

At a glance

  • Order by Thursday 12:00

    That's when Ela starts baking for that Friday or Saturday. Ordering later? Then you pick a day in the following week.

  • Pick up on Friday or Saturday

    Friday from 17:00 to 20:00 or Saturday from 15:00 to 20:00, at Haaksbergerstraat 302. We don't deliver.

  • Box of 4, 8 or 12

    Cookies cost €4 each, so a box of 4 is €16. All prices include VAT.

  • Pay online

    You pay through Mollie. Your order is confirmed as soon as the payment has gone through.

  • Cancel by Thursday 12:00

    Email us before then and you'll get your money back. After that, we start baking for you.

  • Not picked up

    Everything is freshly baked, so in that case you won't get your money back. Let us know in time.

All the rules

Ordering

  • You build your box on the order page. A box holds 4, 8 or 12 cookies and you mix the flavours however you like.
  • You can order until Thursday 12:00. You then pick up your order on the Friday or Saturday of that same week. If Ela is closed on a particular day, you can't choose that day.
  • If we unexpectedly can't make a flavour, for example because an ingredient has run out, we'll contact you. You can then choose another flavour or get that part of your money back.
  • Matcha can't be ordered online. Ela makes it fresh when you drop by on Friday or Saturday, to take away.
  • More than 12 cookies, or something for a party? Then request catering. We'll make you a custom quote, and whatever it says takes precedence.

Prices and payment

  • Cookies cost €4 each. All prices are in euros and include VAT.
  • You pay online through Mollie. Your order is confirmed as soon as your payment has gone through; you'll then receive a confirmation by email.
  • Everything is made by hand, so your order may look slightly different from the photo.
  • If there's an obvious mistake on the site, such as a wrong price, that mistake is not binding.

Pickup

You pick up your order on the day you choose: Friday from 17:00 to 20:00 or Saturday from 15:00 to 20:00, at Haaksbergerstraat 302, 7513 EH Enschede. We don't deliver.

Cancelling

Our products spoil quickly. That's why the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to your order.

Want to cancel anyway? Then email us before Thursday 12:00 in the week of your pickup day at info@lasweetbyela.nl. You'll get your money back. After that, we start baking for you and you can no longer cancel.

Not picked up

Everything is freshly baked. If you don't pick up your order, we can't keep it for you and you won't get your money back.

Can't make it after all? Let us know as soon as possible and we'll look for a solution together.

Allergens and storage

Our cookies contain allergens, such as gluten, milk and egg. Some flavours contain nuts. Do you have an allergy? Then, before you order, ask us what's in a flavour.

Keep your order cool and eat it soon: that's when it tastes best.

Complaints and questions

Not happy with your order? Let us know within 24 hours of pickup by emailing info@lasweetbyela.nl, preferably with a photo. We'll look for a solution together.
